I believe that this is a rare event and is only happening because people like Mayor Bertrand and Jon Edwards took the time to write to the PUC. This is about more than Clean Power Development, it's about doing what's fair, legal and in the best interest of every PSNH customer who are captive customers. Tim is right, we need to pay close attention to this matter.
Impressively this complaint goes well beyond the complaint to the issue of Laidlaw and its impact on NH synergies being at risk. As an example take a look at just one of the interested parties to this complaint and the amount of NH business they have to lose as a result of one large biomass plant eating up all the supply of available low grade wood.
